Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 18 September 2026

⚠ This is a generic starting template, not legal or financial advice. It must be reviewed against the actual structure of FarmVest's offering by a qualified lawyer and compliance professional before real investor money is accepted — see the note on regulatory status below.
Read this before you invest a single rupee

Farm-project investments on FarmVest are not bank deposits, not insured, and not risk-free. You can lose part or all of the money you invest. Only invest money you can afford to lose, and never money set aside for essentials, debt repayment or emergencies.

1. Returns are projections, not guarantees

Every percentage and payout amount shown on FarmVest is a projection based on the project's plan at the time it was listed — it is not a promised, fixed or guaranteed return. Actual results depend on real-world farm performance (weather, market prices, input costs, farmer execution) and can be lower than projected, including a total loss of your invested principal.

2. Liquidity risk

Your money is committed for the full duration shown on each project (e.g. 3–24 months). FarmVest does not currently guarantee early exit or provide a secondary market to sell your position before maturity.

3. Concentration risk

Putting a large share of your savings into a small number of projects, or into projects with correlated risk (e.g. the same crop, region or season), increases the impact of any single project underperforming. Consider spreading investments across different project types and durations.

4. Counterparty & operational risk

Your return depends on the underlying farmer(s) and FarmVest's ability to verify, monitor and manage each project. Fraud, mismanagement, crop failure or a farmer's default can reduce or eliminate the expected return.

5. Referral bonuses do not offset investment risk

Referral bonuses are a marketing incentive, not a return on investment, and are not designed to compensate for a loss on the underlying project.

6. Regulatory status

India regulates the solicitation of public deposits and investment schemes closely (for example under the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019, and SEBI/RBI rules depending on how an offering is structured). FarmVest's operator is responsible for confirming — before onboarding real investors — which regulatory regime applies to this specific offer structure, and for obtaining any required registration or licence. This page does not itself constitute confirmation of regulatory compliance.

7. Past performance

Any statistic shown about historical payouts reflects past projects only and is not a reliable indicator of future results.

8. Questions before you invest

If anything about a project's terms, timeline or risk level is unclear, contact us at [email protected] before investing — not after.
